Get ready, titanium has gone threw the roof! What you bought last
year for $10.00 will be $30 - $40 this year. Demand for titanium
world wide has outstripped the capacity to make it. The industry has
for years been trying to sell itself into every market out there. Now
they have succeeded! I have actually seen prices that can be
referenced to by the ounce! If you currently are making products in
titanium be prepared and sit down when you call your supplier. All
indications are that this will be a long term shortage. It will take
years to build up to the demand.
