Tiny black dots on silver dinner plate

Hi,

Today one of our cutomer come with a complaint to us that the silver
dinner plate which she has purchased from us has some scattered
black spot on it. They have used this plate for the first time and
immediately washed it after dinner. We are manufacturing our dinner
plate in 99% purity. I wants to know what is the reason for this
kind of scattered black dots? Please help me in solving this problem.

Thanks in adbance and Mary X-Mas.

Did she put it in the dishwasher? The powdered dish soap will do
that.

remember the commercial for All when they dropped the oil into
the bowls to show its breaking up? I made all those solutions for the
commercial

Sounds like there is a problem with either minerals in the water or
the detergent they used which is reacting to the metal. Is your
dinner plate .999 coated or fine silver all the way through?

Washing silverware in the dishwasher where it touches steel causes a
black oxidation on the silver.

Greetings Pankaj Bakhai, Many food products will stain fine silver.
Salad dressings are particularly bad. The plate may not have been
washed or rinsed properly. Not your fault.
