[Tidbits] Excitement

You own a jewelry store. You have a web site. You’re a jeweler.
You’re a setter. A polisher perhaps. A lapidary. A sawyer. A cleaver.
A cutter. A sorter. A CAD aficionado. All aspects of the gem and
jewelry trade. Each in their own way yielding rewards of their own.
Each in their own way… when the product of your labors are done
and you can show them with pride… yielding excitement.

But what is excitement? It’s chicken flutter. It’s dodaw. It’s
flitter-flutter… hell beginning to boil… pitter-patter…
razzle-dazzle… twitteration… fracas… pulse quickener… spine
chiller… bamblustercation… and many many more things. I have the
ability to go on in this vein for many issues of Tidbits. But enough
is enough… except of course for those rare times when the
excitement you feel is so overwhelming that you just can’t stop
expressing yourself.

And so… on a day this week… while pondering the levels of
excitement I felt when finishing a particularly dazzling piece… I
thunk to myself… what would best express what I am feeling. I
asked friends and foe alike. I asked humans and animals alike. I set
no boundaries. I did not hold back. How do you express yourself when
you’re bamblustercated over something you’ve just finished.

My friends answered. My enemies laid down their arms so mesmerized
were they by my query. The creatures I met that dwelt on land and sea
and air forgot their inhibitions and began to speak in my tongue.
They gestured. They cavorted. The danced. They mimed what they saw in
their minds’ eyes. They left me and they returned… armed now with
drawings and sculptures and photos of themselves expressing their
feelings of elation at having done a great job… or of having seen a
great piece of jewelry. Most of the jewelry they got all excited
about I must say–in all modesty–was mine. But that is neither here
nor there. This is about elation and a little razzle-dazzle.

And then I saw it. One of my admirers showed it to me. A picture of
total excitement. From something I had shown him, I said? I received
some emphatic head-nodding. It was a diamond of exceptional
beauty… though that in itself did not depict excitement. I held the
image at a distance for better focus. This was the epitome of
elation. It was the apotheosis of twitteration. It was the last
word… it was the quintessence… it was the ultimate.

An so… rather than show you only a diamond this time… I thought
I would show you the diamond and the emotion it evoked. This my
friends… is a true representation of excitement. You will look at
it… and then you will know Are you ready? Go!

For those of you who are new to this thing called Tidbits…may I
direct you to my home page at http://www.tyler-adam.com where you
will scroll down the left side menu till you get to the area that

our pages an image representing total excitement. Let me know if you
agree.

And there ya have it.
That’s it for this week folks.
Catch you all next week.
