The Artist's Way program

Hi Friends and Colleagues!

Well, I’ve gone and done it! Against all reason and sensibility, I’ve
kissed off a ten year tenure (that almost rhymes…) at a highly
respected high-tech firm to pursue a career of solitude and
destitution in my home studio! Of course, all spoken
tongue-in-cheek…

As of Monday, I am a full-time artist, with all the joy, freedom and
anxiety associated with it. I always dreamed of being able to pursue
this passion, but never really expected to be able to achieve it.

I’ve been lurking more than participating for a couple years, but
have been a member of this remarkable community since the early days.
I expect you’ll be hearing more from me… for better or for worse…
in the future.

I’m starting The Artist’s Way program, so any insight or resources
from those familiar with it would be appreciated! I welcome any
suggestions or advice from those who have made this transition
themselves. Feel free to reply privately, if you wish.

All the best,

Hi Dave, I’m unaware of The Artist’s Way program. Would you share this
with us? It sounds like a self help book I need to buy. Thanks, Patty
Rios

Dave, What is “The Artist’s Way program”? As a soon to 'come out’
jeweler, any help could be important.

Thanks for the info, Ed

Dave,

Congratulations for lifting the other foot. If you can find the time
and funding to attend SNAG in Richmond, VA next year, you will find a
room full of people as crazy as you.

Hope to see you there.

Congratulations Dave! I took the leap to full time about 2 years ago
and I don’t regret a thing. It’s stressful and unsure but wonderful to
watch your abilities and ideas grow into ways you may never have
imagined. I wish you the best!

Enjoy
