Thanks for b.c. suggestions

Thanks for all the info on bobbing compound. I will certainly try
it on a bristle brush the next time I have a firescale problem. I
started using it in high school when I was taught the way to a
mirror finish was: 240, 320, bobbing, tripoli, red rouge. That
method never worked for me, and it’s been a long time since I’ve
used anything coarser than 500 grit for finishing silver. I
usually use 600, tripoli, white diamond, and then black rouge,
which was why I was ready to toss out the bobbing compound and all
his little buff friends. Thanks again.
