sharron - one of the quickest tests is to pick a spot that would be
cut off or ground or polished for the finished piece, such as a hole
if it’s to be a bead - use a small bu & drill a smidgen & sniff
immediately - it should smell nauseating & not acrid (sharp) like
plastic - same goes for bone, ivory, abalone -
