When someone makes a comment like "taste the pickle to see if it is
strong enough"It should be followed by the clause, only if you know
what you are doing, only if you have pretty good idea that you are
not mixing arsenic and cyanide, only if you are smarter than the
average bear.
That said, I have known Peter for a few years now and have taken a
lot of his advice and so far I am not dead, maimed, lacking a tongue
or experiencing short term memory loss, we all have little tricks on
how to do things that may not be within OSHA guidelines, but it does
not mean that it is really that bad for you, or going to kill you,
just don’t test your etching solution this way.
