I finally cleaned my tools and sharpened them but the tweezers have rust
and look dirty inside the tweezers Is there a way to clean off the rust
with out having to spend hours at the wheels polishing them… Even then
one can’t get into the very end of the tweezer…Help anyone… calgang
Depending on how rusty they are…fine grit sandpaper or emery paper
helps,and on the tweezer tips I have had success with pumice powder and a
brass brush. Naval jelly will de-rust practically anything but it’s rather
caustic.
There is a solution that I use regularly at work… tidybowl… and rinse
in water after a few seconds… works great… also CLR (found at ACO
hardware…) works just as well… Best wishes! Bob
