Ruth: All along our counters are these velvet covered bi-fold pads
that we put the jewelry on when showing a customer many items. At
the take in counter we also have them. When that customer slobbers
all over that ring or pulls those crusty ear rings out. You simply
hold out this pad for them to place the items on. Tell them that
you are gonna clean the items as to better inspect them and carry
it back to the ultrasonic and steamer. You may also ask if they
would like to have any other items cleaned. I suppose people don’t
realize just how disgusting their items get. If you make them feel
ashamed they may never come back. Michael Mathews

Hi, I do watch batteries every day, how about the crud that is
inbedded into the watch band and the case, yuck! So obviously you
know the the persons hygiene immediately! It is always a good
practice to wash your hands with antibacterial soup or Purell
waterless antibacterical wash several times a day. I started
practicing this 5 years ago when my son started school and got pink
eye and realized that is could have been totally avoided had the
teacher told them how to prevent spreading this infection simply
by washing your hands and not touching your eyes. Have a Good Day
