I am the last person on this board who should answer this question,
but it seems you mean you want to attach a bead to your piece with a
rivet, and not break the bead when you hammer the other side. ?
Prepare a piece of wood with a hole large enough for the bead to
sit, or look around, you may have something. Test with a bead you
don’t mind breaking. Andy Cooperman will have a good answer if he
sees this question. Put something for the bead to have a bit of
springy resistance in the hole.
