hello, i am looking for cheap metals for casting rings/pendants,
which can later be plated with Gold or Silver. Which metals are
ideally suited for electroplating?

hello Shiraz,
you can use either copper or brass as base metals. also in some cases
a tri-metal alloy (bronze) i.e. copper + zinc + tin is used.
