As this thread just won’t die I feel compelled to show off my
example. I purchased this stone a few years ago and was told it was
from Madagascar. The dealer also had top Zambian Amethyst which was
a couple of bucks cheaper than the strawberries. He has never had
them again. The inclusions are a brown/red and are wiggly, the
stone appears quite pink at arms length.
