What s the best way to stop the Liver of Sulphur reaction once the
desired colour has been achieved?

I have seen cold water, ice water, soapy water and baking soda
solution suggested but would be interested in others’ experience.

What s the best way to stop the Liver of Sulphur reaction once the
desired colour has been achieved?

I always put the piece in cold water. I keep my LOS solution in an
electric crock pot for consistent temperature and consistent colors.
