Bob, before I can help, I need to know what tools you have. One
reason that the sets of stone setting burs are so expensive is
that there are 30 or so burs, and each bur is worth 4 to 5
dollers. This is nessasary to cover a wide range of stone sizes,
when bead setting, or channel setting you cannot “fudge” the
prong in or out a little. Let me know what you intend to
practice and what you have and I will attempt to advise on what
I feel is needed and what would be nice.
