Jean Stark’s book ISBN 0-412-07881-3 was $39.95 when I
purchased it, but the price now is $44.95 . I ordered from GIA
Bookstore (800-421-7250, ext.7746), but can also order from
publisher, Chapman & Hall
(http://www.chaphall.com/chaphall.html), as well as any
bookstore. I haven’t taken Jean’s class, but I’ve met her and
she is a very nice lady. I look forward to seeing her again when
she comes to Miami in Oct. Besides teaching chainmaking, Jean
also teaches granulation. I’ve been enjoying her book, and I’m
sure you will too. Do experiment first with wire gauge and dowel
