I just finished setting a black druzy in a pendant. I was very
careful to protect the crystal part of the druzy all during the
process, but it still looks a bit less sparkly than I would like. I
assume it’s the bits of dust I couldn’t help getting on it. What can
I clean it with that will restore that sparkle?

A soft toothbrush and dishwashing liquid (Palmolive or Dawn or
whatever). That’s the last step for every piece I make.

Hi Janet, I have made lots of Drusy pendants and earrings too. I
assume the black Drusy you just set is an onyx? Pretty durable
stuff, I have used the ultrasonic and my steam cleaner to remove
polishing compound. Never had a problem.
