Hello Orchidians: Anyone have a list of sources for fusion findings
to use with a Sparkie II? I have one on temporary loan, and I’m
exploring the fuller use of it, beyond tacking on standard findings.
I have catalogs for Royal Findings (from Triad, the manufacturer of
Sparkie), and Rio, but I’m hoping to find more esoteric items.

Since fusion is used in the commercial costume jewelry industry so
much, there must be more sources for findings.

Hi Lin,

In addition to Rio, which you mentioned, I know Reactive Metals
Studio (www.ReactiveMetals.com) sells fusion findings, and I assume
Swest does, since they donated a Sparkie II for the Orchid auction in
Tucson last month.

In truth I do not think you will find more than you have seen in the
standard catalogs. Only high production of fusion findings make the
products available at all. Good luck. Bill
