To tie into the workshop thread, I am always looking for weekend or
short workshops to increase my knowledge and skills, and would love
to know about any in the southeastern us.

Hi Beth;

Check out the curriculum at Penland School, which should be fairly
close to you. Check it out at http://www.penland.org/ It’s a beautiful
campus and some of the most interesting and talented metalsmiths in
the world offer short classes as well as longer programs.

Beth,

I don’t know your Southeastern location. I can, however, say that
Arromont in Gatlinburg, TN has some good classes. I was impressed
with the instructors as well as the facility.

Stuller is going to have it 3rd workshop . I think it will be in
October and at the Stuller main office in Lafayette , la… we show
all types of stone setting, wax carving, tools, laser, casting,
polishing techs… fun for all
