[Source] Tiny drilled pearls

We have a project of restoring an antique ring and need tiny (1.5mm)
fully drilled pearls. We need about 20 of them to be strung on a wire
in a lilttle channel as an accent around the center stone. Does
anyone know where we might get these pearls?

thanks, charlie

Hi Charlie, I will be interested to hear if anyone has a source for
full drilled 1.5mm pearls. I have always had to drill them myself. I
make a little holder with a wooden clothes pin and drill each
carefully as they are easy to crush when drilled. I use 30 gauge
platinum wire for a repair like you are describing. It’s strong and
is easy to pull tight and twist off.

I’m glad you asked the question!

I might be able to do this job, but give the full on the
pearls. How thick is the naker, do they have glass centers Ect.

Give all your and what pricing you expect and are you
paying shipping cost. What “ALL” are you furnishing?
