Does anyone know where to buy:

  1. Thick walled sterling silver tubing (big enough to set 5mm gems
    in).

  2. Swarovski faceted gems (Rio used to sell these for CHEAP, but
    discontinued them).

I do, thanks to this very forum!

Metalliferous has thick-walled silver tubing in a range of sizes and
they even tell you what size of stone each is suited for. Just go to
their website (metalliferous.com) and select the silver category,
then scroll down to near the bottom of the page and click on tubing.
Think maybe the second or third page is where you’ll find what you
need. Have fun!

I get my thick-walled tubing at Hoover & Strong. The item code is
TBX and the 5.5 or 5.75mm outer diameter tubing should do it for you.
