[Source] Rubylite

Hi All, I am looking for a gem called rubylite (sp) I think it is man
made. If someone could provide any or a source thanks.

The reddish to purple colored tourmaline is called rubellite. It’s a
natural stone. Is this what you’re thinking of?

Rubylite is a the name of a variety of Calla Lilly.

If there is a material called Rubylite then it’s vaguely fraudulent
use of the “Ruby” bit of it’s name would make me steer clear of it,
as it’s probably only a variety of manmade corundum!

I am looking for a gem called rubylite (sp) I think it is man made.

Rubellite is a gorgeous red variety of tourmaline, and is a natural
gemstone. I just bought a few handsome trillions from Robert Lowe,
out of Brazil, who is also an Orchid member.

Joe, Rubellite is the red variety of tourmaline. It is not a man
made gem. Any tourmaline dealer should be able to help you.

Joe, Are you sure that you don’t mean “rubellite”, which is red
tourmaline? Joel

All, I remember a “Laser Glass” marketed with the name “Rubylite” I
think the company was “Graves”. Phone number 800- 327- 9103. The
other best company I know for synthetic or natural rough one piece at
a time is “Creative Gems” 1-972-287-3445. I think that they also
carry “Laser Glass”.
