Any welding supply store has them.

Hi Marilyn,
I am looking for a source for PrestoLite tips. Does anyone know a source?
Try you local welding supply company or a company that sells to
refrigeration repair people. Both these places usually stock them.

Marilyn,
J S Ritter has those tips
http://tinyurl.com/ywpgea
I suggest you try here, first, in any event shop around a bit, it may
pay (save). I had started to write a long letter with numerous
links, I have deleted that. See- (starts at the second page over,
best price seen for tips, as far as known Ritter still has the best
price on a kit, 4 tips, I
alway suggest a kit with all tips to save a hassle, but sometimes a
replacement might be needed also.)
Indian Jewelers Supply - 1-800-545-6540. They have a minimum order
of $50 or they charge a $5 handling fee.

Hi Marilyn-
Indian Jewelry Supply has a nice selection of Prest o Lite tips. I
got mine there.
Jean
hello our local welding supply stores stock the presto-lite tips at
reasonable prices. perhaps check there before jewelry suppliers…Dr.
R.E. Rourke, Md., ED, PhD, JD, MFA, MBA, NAJA, etc.
I want to thank everyone who sent The tips are for the
art center where I teach part time. As the senior member of the
department, I am department head even if I am not teaching a class
this session and so I get the requests. My old PrestoLite kit that I
did buy from a local welding store, is still working perfectly after
thirty years in a home studio. The Indianapolis Art Center has four
soldering stations in the metalsmithing/jewelry room. One of the
other instructors is doing chain making and so we need more than one
tiny tip. With all of these sources, I am sure that the education
assistant who is in charge of ordering things, will be able to
acquire them.
Thanks again.

SEE your nearest Praxair ( formerly Linde) distributor. te welding
equipment line is now owned by ESAB…see
jesse
there is also another brand that looks exactly like the presto lite
tips that works fine. I got mine from Santa Fe Jewelers Supply, but
they don’t have them on their website, so I don’t have the name off
hand.

You are right, Goss, Uniweld, Prestolite, Genco, are
interchangeable. However there are two types, snap on and screw in,
the standard Prestolite handle is screw in. (Smith is proprietary.) I
came across a replacement chart before I sent a reply, it listed
torch tips by part number and the replacement part number from Goss,
Uniweld etc. After seeing the price for tips through Indian Jewelers
Supply I deleted it, but yes you can get a close equivalent.
If you are in Indpls, the Praxair supplier is located on Polco st.
That is just south of the Indpls Motor Speedway between 10th and
16th st. That is the old plant that orginally produced the
Prestolite auto headlamps and later even developed the Linde star
rubies and sapphires. I think there is even visible faintly Linde on
a smoke stack.
