Hi Michael,

Kindt-Collins may be able to help, they do waxes for engineering
customers.

Here in the UK we have a supplier that does large size blue wax, I
believe they supply Delcam.

regards Tim.

Matthew, Try any industrial supply. They carry large blocks of wax
for machinists to cut prototypes.

Matthew,

mcmaster.com has machinable wax in large sizes in blue, purple, and
green. If you can live with blue, use-enco.com has much better
prices.

I don’t know if it’s green or not, but MSC (mscdirect.com) has a
product called ‘machinable wax’ in many sizes, both as blocks &
cylinders. It’s located on page 1744 of their 2006-2007 catalog. One
item # is 00263343.

Hi Matthew

I use the green Matt Wax Bars ( 1 3/8" x 3" x 6 1/2 " ) for my
milling machine. I use tons of them, and I found that Stuller had the
best price. I get mine out of Vancouver as I am in Canada. Shipping
is a bit of a factor when I order 15 or 20 at a time. Product Number
is 21-0430

I would add that I too am looking for larger blocks of carving wax,
12" x 12" x4" would be ideal for me.
