[Source] Head settings for odd size stones

I have some faceted stones that are odd sizes. Would anyone know
where I can purchase custom head settings for faceted gems?

That’s why they’re called custom, they are not available as stock
units. New York Findings has a lot of off sized settings in their
book but delivery might be problematic, maybe something there is
‘close enough’? If the stones are really oddball sizes, the settings
would have to be handmade to fit.

You need a experienced custom jeweler, aka: Special order
manufacture. Scan the stones, label the images with measurements,
detail the style and material you want, and email to several special
order manufactures for estimates. If you want them fabricated in
palladium, I’m your best choice.

Can someone point me in the direction of a silver pendant mounting
or just plain mounting for a rather large stone… 12 x 17 pear
shape. Really don’t want to make one…

Tripps has them in 17x11 and 16x12. Either would probably work.
