Source for intaglios?

Thanks for responses about the matte finish. I’ll buy the glass
brush tomorrow and try it out on scrap.

Do any of you know of a good source for intaglios – either new
or ancient – preferably semi-precious stone. Oh, I’ll be in
California next month and was wondering if you had any
recommendations for gem stores or jewelry supply stores that were
must-sees up and down the coast.

If you are in Los Angeles, just plant yourself in the downtown
jewelry section, at 7th and Hill- there’s loads of stuff to see.
Where are you from? E-mail me and maybe I can make up a list of
places that might be a l;ittle special.
