[Source] cheap CZs

Hello again orchidians, I’ve got any source inquiry for you guys. I
have been drilling various setting techniques to in hopes that i can
increase my chances of getting a job. So i have found myself in need
of allot of asorted sizes of CZ’s and other cheap stones. All the
CZ’s i have been using i got from Rio but the price seems a bit steep
for what they are and i am not impressed by the quality (Grind marks
still present on the facets). I heard about some places you could get
CZ’s for cheap when i was in school but haven’t been able to track
down that supplier. If any one has any of where to get
these, you would become my new favorite person for the day. thanks to
all the wonderful people who make up this forum.

Try Pehnec. Their prices on CZ’s and also lab sapphires and rubies
are the best I’ve seen.

Hi Dave et al

I use a lot of CZ’s. I use Swarovski Gems CZ’s. They are cut to GIA
diamond standard. AKA perfect.

Customers know the name and have faith in the quality already.

A 7mm round Signity Cut is $2.20 + %10 tax in Australia. Cheaper by
the box.

These stones are great quality and come in many shapes.

Customers prefer clear over coloured.

Cheap usually equals crap.

Richard.

Try Stratura in Uxbridge, MA Ask for Mary. Prices are excellent.

Good luck, MA

one thing to keep in mind is that even though they are all CZ- there
are different qualities of cut and faceting. as well as actual lab
growing the boules- so that’s something to consider- the older stone
material seems to exceed some on the market now (from China in
particular)…It may be cheaper but it’s not as sparkly! I found some
from FDJ 2mm for around 50 cents each- call for a bulk price- the
material was nice. and can be had in colours too. rio has decent
material at quantity prices- call too and ask for a better price,
can’t hurt when buying in bulk…

dont be surprise to get GOOD n CHEAP cz in china…

Hello David, I am Stephen Wyrick down in San Antonio, and maybe I
can help you with your CZ situation. ES-Plane Me your needs and I.
ll bet I canbeat your prices elsewhere. I have to first know what
you want in the way of stones. There is no limit on Size and almost
"all" colours!

Hello David,

You might want to double check the credentials of someone who puts
Gemologist after their name and can’t spell it correctly or the word
COLORS or I"LL! Just sayin’

Quite possibly, that check will reveal someone with very respectable
credentials.

Those spellings (both of them) are the British versions. They are
not misspelled, just not those most commonly used in Texas. The I"LL
bit. well, he actually typed " I. ll " Seems you too have some minor
trouble with typos. Sheesh. We’re all just human, after all. Find
something more substantial than typos, please, before you question
someone’s credentials. Mr.

Wyrick’s are fine, as is his reputation.

My bad, I am sure he’s fine, I guess I was in one of those moods and
was trying to be cute. As usual, it didn’t work! LOL Steve Cowan
