[Source] Barrel Clasp

Hi All–A jeweler friend (not yet on the web) asked me to post the
following inquiry: She is trying to find a source for a Barrel Clasp
with a Bayonet closing. It is made in 18k gold and in Sterling, and
is imported from Germany. It is an unusual clasp in that when closed
it is a perfect cylinder and looks very elegant. Unfortunately we
don’t know the name of the company that makes them. Thanks!! Sandra

I don’t know the name of the company who makes the bayonnet clasps,
but I do know the name of a US company that imports them. Allcraft
Jewelry Supply Company has a large selection of these in sterling and
also gold. They also sell the rubber neck rings that are used with
the bayonnet clasps. Their number is 1 800 645 7124. The clasps are
on the back page of their specialty catalog 68. They require $5.
for them to send you their tool catalog and this specialty catalog.

sorry, to barge in, I am new, and have been lurking a day or so. But,
does this company have an email site?

Or, are they located in NYC, and do you have an address? I will be
going to NY in two weeks and will be visiting different supply houses
for the first time…I am a newbee to this field. So, I am going back
to lurk mode.
