One design I use for customers with arthritis/big knuckles is to
make a non round ring.
Make a round ring shank do not solder. Bend ends up 90 degrees or
more. Fit stone setting and solder.
This ring is put on sideways and turned upright. This solves the
problem of large knuckles when the ring goes over the knuckle and
then is loose.
This design is also good to make rings that can be stacked.
