Does anyone have a suggestion for a source for 3mm round faceted
natural or synthetic blue sapphire? I’ve been trying to locate some
and am not having much luck.

I might suggest Rio-Grande or even Stuller for a start. Up here in
Toronto, I can think of about 8 suppliers all in walking distance of
each other.

I hate to say it, but. eBay. I just bought some very nice stones
there, and there are a lot of small sapphires for sale.
Also, for synthetic sapphires, Prehnec. But you have to buy a lot of
them.

Try Allan Goldman in NY. Their website says they carry 3mm round
sapphire.
You’ll need to register to get a trade password.
Caren,
Riogrande has them.

Check with Joseph Stratura. If they dont have them listed on their
website its worth a call. Another possibility is Rich Day
Enterprisis.
These guys have Montana sapphires in all sizes:

yet, but I plan to in the future.
