[Source] 18k palladium white solder

Hi All-

Does anyone know of a source for 18K Palladium White Gold Solder?
Hoover & Strong (which is where I got my sheet of 18K PWG) has some
in hard, but I’ve heard it’s tough to work with. I also need medium
and I haven’t found that at all yet. Any ideas? Thanks!

I work with Hoover’s 18k palladium white gold solder all the time.
Is it a little harder to work with then some other solders? Sure, but
that’s what makes you a better jeweler, learning how to work with the
hard stuff. Of course, I only use hard solders on all of my gold work
so maybe I’m a little jaded.

I’ve used the H&S 18K palladium white gold solder several times and
haven’t had any problems with it. The flow temp is a lot hotter than
is usual for me, which is a bit awe-inspiring, but it’s worked fine.
I’ve also talked a couple of pretty novice metalsmiths through a
simple soldering operation with it and they had no problems, either.
