IJS carries a wire solder, called Fos-Flo #7, for copper.
Fos-Flo works fine for soldering copper, but it leaves a dull grey
seam. That’s why I prefer the “penny” solder for copper. It takes
a LOT of heat, but the color match is great.

Mindy, what kind of solder are you using? Can you use lead solder
and a soldering iron as in stained glass materials? It might be
easier to sweat solder something that size with a lower-melting
solder.
