SNAG Awards 2004 Minority Outreach Grants to High Schools

The Society of North American Goldsmiths (SNAG) is pleased to
announce the 2004 recipients of the Minority Outreach Grants for
High Schools. Eleven schools from around the United States applied
and grants were awarded to three schools. Each school will receive
$1,300 for tools and supplies and each Guest Artist will also
receive $1,300. This year’s awards are double the amount that SNAG
awarded in previous years, due to a generous grant from an anonymous
foundation.

We also gratefully acknowledge the New York Silver Society for
donating $1000 to help us in matching funds, and the MJSA Education
Foundation for its $750 annual contribution.
