That is what it is. Emerging Artists is being used the same way it
was done with budding poets, who paid a good deal for entering the
competition. The only people who saw the poetry were the people who
sent it in - a cheaply produced volume in return for their money,
plus repeated requests for more entries the next year. A friend
fell for it and was hugely embarrassed when she discovered the truth.
