Sizing a spinning band

Just don't bring them to me to fix, size or redesign like they
should have been designed to begin with, because I already dodged
those bullets before. It's a fine case of "Just Say NO '

Best piece of advice I’ve seen on this issue. Its not that I
can’t(been doing this for over 40 yrs), its ‘why would I want to’?
If I did this one, it would definitely be cut, by the way. Stretching
that much would be the least desirable way. This is a great job to
lose money on. If its a pride thing, go ahead, but if you value your
time, and want to remain profitable, I wouldnt touch it, and I’d
politely tell the customer why. You cant be faulted for not doing
this one, but you can easily be faulted for a ring with future
problems, and this is a problem waiting to happen.

Ah, you sized my ring up 4.5 sizes. Beautiful job, too - here, let’s
try it on. HMMMMM. Either we mis-measured or maybe I’ve gained a bit
of weight. I just can’t get it on my finger. Guess it’s going to have
to go up another 1/2-3/4 size. Can I get it by Friday? It’s my
birthday…

John,

Guess it's going to have to go up another 1/2-3/4 size. Can I get
it by Friday? It's my birthday........

Another reason to avoid such jobs. I might mention running naked it
to the woods rather often but it is a good technique. Just say NO
WAY, find a really dumb jeweller.
