Silver Service repair - replating

Hello Orchidians,

This query is quite a bit off the usual jewelry line, but I’m
wondering who can repair and replate silver plated coffee and tea
serving pieces. (I sure can’t do the soldering on a COFFEE pot. My
guess is that Gorham or Rogers, etc. do it in a kiln.)

If no one knows, that’s OK, but since the situation has come up, it
doesn’t hurt to ask. Thank you Hanuman for kindly moderating and
posting all these messages; I learn so much from this group.

Judy, Hi! IMHO there is only one person Jeffrey Hermann. SAS I am lost
without my own computer and bookmarks. Society of American
Silversmiths has a wonderful Web Site and much of Jeffrey’s repair work
techniques are highlighted.

Please do a search, you will find it. I am bone tired from Census
