Short classes offered now to August?

Could we start a list of short classes offered now to August?

I always follow these links hoping that it will be 2-3 days and I
would love to leave Ottawa’s -28C to California or anywhere warm for
a class…but they always are 6-8 week classes.

Thanks
Simone

Secret Compartment Ring Workshop (course #092JEWR200)

Saturday, March 28, 2009, 10:30am - 6:00pm

The desire to encircle the fingers with symbols of loyalty, wealth,
and power is an ancient tradition dating back thousands of years.
Rings are the most personal and most coveted of adornments. In this
one-day intensive, make a ring with a secret hidden compartment.
Sometimes called “poison rings,” such adornments were made famous by
tales of the intrigues of Lucrezia Borgia, but this one can hold
whatever you like. Victoria’s internationally acclaimed DVD, Rings,
has sold all over the world. This is a special opportunity to make
one of the projects with her in person. Participants must have
beginning jewelry skills and know how to solder with a torch.

All Chained Up (course # 092JEWC035)

Through demonstrations and individual coaching, participants will
learn original fused chain patterns for bracelets and necklaces for
both men and women. Victoria is the author of Metal Techniques of
Bronze Age Masters: All Chained Up. Learn her approach for making fun
and unique chains with no clean up that will enhance your designs
whether contemporary or ancient. Participants must know how to solder
with a torch

Sunday, March 29, 2009, 10:30am - 4:30pm

For registration, please visit. Special rate accommodations through
Dunwoody DoubleTree hotel for out of town participants. For examples

Victoria Lansford

I teach a 1 week workshop in enamels in my hometown, Casper,
Wyoming. The class is June 1 through June 5 from 9 am to 3:50 pm.
There are no prerequisites for the course and if you want to take it
for college credit you can opt for that (1 credit hour). You learn
the basics of enameling on copper, the materials are provided for a
small class fee and you bring only tweezers and 2 paint brushes. For
out-of-towners, the usual variety of motels is available. Jackson,
the Tetons, Thermopolis hot springs, Yellowstone Park, rockhounding
and fishing are all within a few hours drive.
