I was doing a cast one time, and the acetylene hose had become
loose somehow and I ended up with a lot of fire in my hands. I
imediately dropped (threw) the torch and turned the tanks off.
I wasn’t hurt thanks to my wearing welders gloves when casting,
and my following the precaution of always just turning the tanks
on one half turn. There is still a burned place on the floor
from that one.
