I just acquired a new customer in Australia, a retail shop, that
ordered a quantity of sterling silver charms. I’ve been shipping
small sterling silver pieces to Australia for some time without any
problem, but when I took my 50-charm order to the Post Office, the
clerk said this was a precious metal shipment and was prohibited for
Australia. Does anyone have experience successfully shipping their
silver pieces to Australia? The shipment’s not really big enough to
warrant getting a customs broker, etc.
