I am setting a 6mm cabochon peridot in a sterling silver bezel
setting. It is a fairly high cut. When I look at the stone I see a
dark circle at the centre of the stone - my image. This is the
second setting because I thought dirt had somehow got under the
stone in the first go-around. The stone seems to be acting like a
lens. Any suggestions?
