Setting a 16.75 carat cubic heart

Hi Guys,

I asked a friend of mine to sell me something that looks awesome, so
he furnished me with the subject of this post.

It’s an Israeli cut from the 60’s, and geez it sparkles

I asked my teacher for his opinion on how best to set it (I like to
do the setting myself), and his suggestion was a 6 claw setting a
claw on either side of the lobes and 2 claws at the point.

What would you do?
Regards Charles A.

I hope someone replies. I got Susan a 26 carat sphene heart that I
have been trying to come up with an idea to set it.

Whoever sets the sphene needs to be very good, very careful.
Extremely easy to damage. I had to have one re-cut after just barely
touching it, deep scratch. I have quite a bit of experience in
setting, I knew I had to be careful, I was not prepared for just how
extremely careful I needed to be.
