Perhaps our mentor in NZ will again describe making small draw
plates for custom shapes. I have made several and made several blank
sets for the instructor at school. Super. I used cold rolled steel,
1/2 an inch square and a 1/4-20 bolt on each end. I paid like $4.00
for an 8 foot piece of steel. Gave the school half. You can also look
in Metalwork and Enameling by Herbert Maryon (a super book by the
way) in Chapter XV entitled “Mouldings”.
