Hello Fellow Orchidians !

I was searching for a supplier of Scotch Stones - and I have found
them! I have a few extra I can share - they are 3 3/4" x1/4"x1/4". -

So, apparently, did Tevel, at Allcraft. He’s been offering them for
sale again for several years now. I’ll bet that’s where you found
them, right? He has quite a selection of available sizes of the
things too.

Dear Orchid, what are scotch stones and what are good for? Vince,

Hi Vincent, Don’t know if I’m telling you about the right things or
not, but, we used Scotch Stones (Scotch Hones??) to take the image
off of aluminum Lithography Plates!

They were a very hard stone about 1/4" square and about 6" long and
used like an eraser! They are still available, used like an abrasive
on metals! If this isn’t what you were looking for I’m sorry to give
you a bum steer! Jim
