G’day again; I just realized that I left out a vital bit when I
answered the question about enlarging a hole in a rubber
stopper. I should have mentioned that the stopper and the
round file should both be placed in the coldest part of the
freezer to attain a very low temperature so as to make the filing
of the rubber easier. (Makes it more firm, eh?) We used to
use liquid nitrogen for the job. You would of course, need
good gloves with which to hold them.
