We have a Rio wax injector, manufactured by W & W, and we’re trying to figure out how to work the pressure regulator. We may have damaged it by running in air at too much pressure, but since we can’t figure out how it’s supposed to work, it’s hard to tell. Does anyone have experience with an injector like this? Can you help us out?
Hello Cholman, I have one of these at home. to adjust the pressure on the regulator, pull outward the dial (next to the red ring) and then twist to raise or lower the air pressure. then press back in to “lock in” or set the pressure.

Thanks for your help. It turns out I had blown out the regulator by running in too much air pressure. When I pulled out on the knob, it just came right off. For what it’s worth – if that happens to anyone else, Rio has replacement regulators for $44. I’m looking forward to give at-home wax injection another try once the new regulator gets here.
At least the whole thing wasn’t destroyed.
