I had a similar problem with some heavy wire stock I got from
Rio. It looked like someone had already been doing some forging
on it! I sent it back and they refilled the order without
question. I don’t think you are being too picky, we have to
hold our vendors to our standards. I use Rio a lot, too, and
don’t usually have a problem with them… although I am always
on the lookout for alternate vendors.
