G/DAY I have been rhodium plating for all my jewellery life about
40 years and on reading this months A.J.M. page 65 paragraph 10 I
find a step I have never heard of , quote ( it is essential to use a
activator) pray what is a activator? It is obversely a chemical to
make the plating active but what chemical please help! Rhodium is
always a problem waiting to happen so any advice is welcome Russell W

The activator we sell is a powder compound which is used between the
electro-clean and nickel or rhodium. No anode it is to make sure
that the solution is spread equally over the pc that is to be plated
