Whats the safe/ best way to polish chains.
In my estimation, the fastest & best way to polish (burnish, really)
chains is in a vibratory tumbler with assorted shapes of stainless
steel shot.
The size of the tumbler & amount of shot required depends on the
amount of chain to be tumbled at an one time.

Whats the safe/ best way to polish chains.
We cut off the last 6 inches of a baseball bat and would wrap a
chain around the bat to polish it. ONLY polished with a buff that was
almost worn down so that it was not large in diameter and wouldn’t
get away from you
