I just returned from a five day trip to Dallas to see the Rene
Lalique exhibit in the Dallas Museum of Art. I highly suggest
checking out the show for anyone living in the area or planning
on a visit to the vicinity before the 10th of January. This is a
compilation of 120 pieces of his jewelry, and includes a small
number of his glass pieces as well. It is unlikely that a
collection of this magnitude will be exhibited again, so it is a
great time to see his unusual and incredibly beautiful jewels!
I made the trip from California just to see it, and was WELL
worth my while!
