Removing fingerprints on waxed copper

I just found some discolored fingerprints on a copper sculpture that
had been patinated with liver of sulphur and then sealed with
Renaissance Wax. For reasons that are too long to go into, I can’t
strip it down and re-patina and re-wax it. I had thought the
Renaissance wax was going to seal it well enough that this wouldn’t
happen. It’s big and the affected area is smooth so spot-sanding
them out and re-doing the patina selectively would be impossible.

Any idea how I can remove the fingerprints?

Thanks in advance
