Reliable platinum caster?

Does anyone have a long term relationship with a reliable platinum
caster that they would recommend?
Mid-West location most desirable.

Many thanks,
Steve

You are charged a flask fee (around $25) plus the metal and return

setup fee providing you aren’t submitting large or bulky items.
TechForm prefers to attach the feed sprues since they want to insure

Steve,

Linus at AU Enterprises is the absolute best I have ever dealt with.
You can call him at 248-544-9700.

Yes, I’ve used them for 5 years. They have a website as well.

I’ve used both Techform, in Oregon (through my current employer),
and AU enterprises, just north of Detroit. Of the two, AU gave me
the more consitant results.

I should mention that I’m biased. I used to work for Linus and his
(then) wife, back when I lived in Detroit…

But I still feel AU does very good work.

I also use Au as my caster. I have nothing but good things to say
about them. I have also noticed them in AJM several times lately.

Hello Steve,

I have tried about 5 different platinum casters and have settled on
Platina in NYC. Very reliable and excellent quality. The have their
own alloy that is a bit harder than regular .950 that also polishes
with less work. Not in the Mid-West, but with overnight shipping the
difference in cost is minimal. They have a same day service for a
premium, but I usually get regular service castings in about a week
after sending them the mold.
